AITEX, or Asociación de Investigación de la Industria Textil, is the reference center for research, innovation and advanced technical services for the textile, habitat, apparel, technical textiles, cosmetics and other similar sectors.
It is also one of the main centers of its kind in Europe, which, with more than 35 years of experience, is committed to infrastructure investment, provides solutions to companies and generates opportunities for the development of the sector.
In addition to the above, AITEX is also an accredited center to issue certificates that guarantee the different quality processes to companies around the world according to current regulations, technical standards and international standards. A professional company with offices in America, Asia and Europe.
AITEX and sustainability
One of the main aspects of AITEX’s work is sustainability, which, as we have already mentioned in the post on the SDGs, encompasses social, economic and environmental aspects, and is essential to ensure a better future and create a socio-economic balance.
Therefore, both AITEX and aquaclean are constantly working to improve the environment through sustainability and circular economy. It is essential in view of the 2030 Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, to maintain a social and environmental commitment, and try to comply with these 17 SDGs. Our future and our descendants deserve nothing else.
Sustainability Award
All this takes us to November 2022. aquaclean, nominated as finalists for the AITEX 2022 awards in the category of sustainability and/or innovation in textiles. We were honored to be chosen among the 5 finalists, along with other leading companies in the sector, as they were the most professional companies in the whole country.

Surprise! Our technology and sustainable treatment gave us a lot to talk about, and we were awarded the first AITEX 2022 prize for sustainability and innovation. But that does not mean that we are going to relax, we have to continue learning, innovating, and doing our bit to continue providing peace of mind not only in the present, but for the future of the sector and you, the users of aquaclean.
In fact, this January we attended the Heimtextil 2023 fair, to present our products, and absorb all the information and knowledge that is transmitted at the largest fair in the sector, where every year it is more important to support sustainability and the SDGs.
