An award-winning commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility

We are in luck! We have been awarded the prestigious Corporate Social Responsibility Award, granted by Banco Sabadell in collaboration with the newspaper Levante – El Mercantil Valenciano, in its third edition. This recognition is a testament to our ongoing commitment to excellence in sustainable management and social responsibility in the business world, but what exactly does this award mean? This award highlights our commitment to both the environment and the working environment, for which we take special responsibility. At Aquaclean, we believe in the importance of creating a positive impact on our community and the environment in which we operate. For us, sustainability and social responsibility are not just buzzwords, but core values that guide our daily actions. Our Commitment to SustainabilityIn a world where sustainability has become more crucial than ever, we have taken a proactive approach to reducing our environmental impact. We use environmentally friendly materials in the manufacture of our fabrics. In addition, our easy water-based cleaning technology eliminates the need for harsh chemicals, promoting a healthier, more environmentally friendly home. The elimination of PFCs in our fabric manufacturing processes is extremely beneficial to our future, due to the toxicity of PFCs, and the length of time their residues last on Earth, especially damaging seas and oceans. On the other hand, the use of sustainable materials in our fabrics makes us contribute our grain of sand towards reaching the proposed SDGs for 2030. Especially our four latest collections, Veneto, Alba, Natura, and Fontana, are made from 100% recycled products, and are in turn 100% recyclable, thus generating an endless product life cycle, which completely eliminates the waste that could be generated to the environment. And what are the SDGs? They are the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals proposed by the UN, to be achieved by 2030. If you want to know more about them, you can take a look at this other blog post. Corporate Social ResponsibilityThe award as such that we have been given, is for CSR, but it was important to explain the whole sustainable context, as it is a big part of why we have been able to get it. But it is not the only thing that involves social responsibility: over the last few years, and in different countries around the world, we have carried out different projects with the aim of teaching young people about the textile world and the processes involved in the manufacture of fabrics. One of them is “Learningtex”, a project co-founded by the Erasmus program of the European Union, which promotes the correct education of textile employees interested in Europe, and students in knowing more about fabrics, machinery and application of new technologies. This, and many other projects carried out with your happiness and peace of mind, and the responsible management of the environment as a goal, have resulted in this latest award, which together with that of ATEVAL the previous year, mark several years of success, which indicate that we are going the right way, and for this we would like to thank you. Without you we would not have an engine that moves us towards continuous improvement, and to try to build a better and more sustainable world for everyone. We hope that this award will inspire more companies to join in the effort for the future we want to achieve. Thank you!
